My name is Patricia Pahinag, and I am a freelance Director of Photographer, Editor, Assistant Camera, and Videographer, currently based in Portland, OR. I received my BA in Film and a minor in Theater Arts at Portland State University!

My experience as a filmmaker encapsulates a variety of media ranging from independent narrative films, branded media, sports, documentaries, music videos, and more. I've had the privilege to work on projects with clients such as Nike, Travel Oregon, PDX Next, Intel, Amazon, and more. I have also held multiple roles in event management, theater, marketing/advertising, and AV services, that have aided in my creative process.
 
Since graduating college in June 2023, I immediately fell into the global space joining the Portland Trail Blazers for the '23-'24 NBA season as their Videographer intern, where I learned the most about storytelling and even went on to receive a NW Regional Emmy Award for my work as an editor on The Trail Docuseries. I then went on to continue my work at Weiden + Kennedy as their Content Services Resident in the summer of '24, where I was introduced to the world of advertising, working hands on commercials from pre-production all the way to post. In Oct. 2024, I took a risk and jumped into freelancing full-time where I've continued my work with the Blazers, as well as jump back into the narrative space as a DP and Editor on various independent films. I am now currently a Producer of Video and Content for an upcoming podcast channel, and is set to DP and edit a few shorts and features in 2025.

I admire the way in which the moving picture allows viewers to gain a new perspective on life through each visual, and believe that every shot and cut should have intention and story. I find joy in the challenge of creating and stitching images that enhances these experiences and elevate its connection with the audience.
